Concept Sculpt Styracosaurus

Maya & ZBrush: Walkthroughs

In This Class You’ll Access…
This class covers creating and rendering a 3d turntable of Javier Burgos’s wonderful Styracosaurus dinosaur 2d concept. See how the 3d model has been sculpted by instructor Andrew Silke.

The workflow here aims to have the model built and rendered quickly for presentation; this render was created in about 9 hours and includes modeling/sculpting texturing lighting and compositing.

You’ll see how the fast workflow alternative takes shortcuts while maintaining the quality of the final render.

This class is mostly time-lapse based. Almost all the techniques we cover here you can find in more detail on the site elsewhere. See the notes for links to other videos for further information.
