My hotkey doesn’t work in MAYA 2019, the script editors says # Error: line 1: ImportError: file line 1: No module named zoo.libs.maya.cmds.hotkeys.definedHotkeys #

Hi there, this is most likely to do with an incorrect install of some kind. It just can’t find the base folder of one of the main directories. So it looks like the hotkeys are installed, but not Zoo Tools itself.

Can you see the Zoo Tools Pro menu in the top bar? If not Zoo Tools is not installed correctly. I’ll email you and we can continue this discussion. I’ve never had this as an issue so it’s probably something simple.

No, there is no Zoo Tools Pro menu in the top bar.

Please email me with issues like these at info@create3dcharacters.com. The tools always work, but some subscribers have issues that are difficult to pinpoint.

Backface culling is not working properly (or I missed something). When activated it does hide the components that are on the back side of the model but they are still being selected when I do the drag rectangle selection (or lasso tool).

May I ask when maya2020 can be supported?

2020 is already supported in Zoo Tools 2 which is where all our efforts are at the moment.

We are looking into upgrading Zoo1 next week, but I’m starting to encourage everyone to switch to Zoo2 unless you are using our auto rigger.

Apologies for the delay on this reply. Sorry, Gmail was skipping these messages from my inbox, I’m usually very good at replying. Feel free to ask any questions on tutorials if you are using Zoo 2.
