PLACE REFLECTION – OVERVIEW
Place Reflection is a tool that positions a light from a clicked position on the surface of an object.
The light gets placed so that its reflection appears at the clicked position.
Hold control and click-drag on a mesh to move the light closer or further from the surface.
Place Reflection is also available inside the Area Light and Directional Light tools.
This script is open source (MIT) by Braverabbit .
THE PROBLEM
It’s challenging to place light reflections on objects, for highlights such as car reflections or eye highlights.
THE SOLUTION
Place Reflection automatically places the light, so its reflection can be seen on the model.
