EDIT LIGHTS – OVERVIEW
Edit Lights controls multiple light settings in your scene.
Batch control intensity, scale, and rotation for your selected lights or the entire scene.
Supports Arnold, Redshift and Renderman.
THE PROBLEM
Maya has no easy way of tweaking multiple light settings in a scene.
Scaling normalized area lights from the scene center will cause lights to dim or blow out the light intensity.
THE SOLUTION
This UI enables control of the scene exposure by changing the intensity of all lights.
Other functions include,
– Change the intensity of selected lights.
– Scale area lights without affecting normalize settings.
– Scale lights from the world center or their pivot.
– Rotate all lights from the world center or their pivots.
